I love that you included the Clif Shot Bloks. They are so tasty, you forget that they’re an energy snack.

Such a cool list! I can see why these would be on anyone’s wish list! Now I can just send my hubby a link to this to make it easy for him!! He just moved here from a tiny village in England, and the big shopping malls intimidate him a bit!

    🙂

Ooooh the 5 in 1 griddler is amazing! I bought it for one of my besties as a wedding present and she tells me she uses it almost daily. I’m tempted to get one for myself now too!

  • Melissa December 5, 2013, 7:00 pm

Yay, the pumpkin k-cups are a classic! Always a loved favorite in my house.

  • Dory December 5, 2013, 7:46 pm

I bought that West Elm duvet, and have not been impressed :(. It is gorgeous on the bed but when we toss and turn at night we end up ripping seams in the pintucks. And the noise of it wakes both me and my husband up. After a month or 2 of being woken up every now and then we took it off the bed.

    • Caitlin December 5, 2013, 7:57 pm

Oh no! Did you return it? That didnt happen with mine!

  • Charitydawn December 5, 2013, 7:55 pm

haha i thought the juicer was a meat grinder.. you can imagine my confusion…
Love the kureig! and the griddler we have both they are fantastic. However Green mountain K cups are hard to come by where I live! They are my favorite ones though.

  • Melanie December 5, 2013, 8:03 pm

Caitlin, I really really love your blog and read it absolutely every day. I was just a little surprised to see the K-cups on your list. You often promote green living but K-cups seem far from being “green” or sustainable because of all the wasted cartridges. I was just wondering what your thoughts were on this.

    • Caitlin December 5, 2013, 8:09 pm

Hi 🙂 Thanks for reading so regularly. I really appreciate it. I guess my response is that I try to be green in some ways, but I’m definitely not perfect about it. I *REALLY* adore my Keurig and the convenience of k-cups. I guess I never thought about the environment impact of them, though. 🙁 I do have a reusable k-cup container that I use occasionally – maybe I should try to use it more!

      • caitie December 6, 2013, 8:13 am

We occasionally use the K-cups too, but we also have 4 reusable cups that we fill at night so in the morning, its just as fast a K-cup! Takes less than a minute to fill night + wash out in the morning! Environmentally better and so much cheaper! 🙂

      • Rebecca December 6, 2013, 3:30 pm

You can run them through more than once. The strength is a little different after you’ve used them once, but there’s still stuff in them. My mom sometimes runs one through the next day, and I’m pretty sure I’ve heard some people at church say they do, too. I don’t know if it’s stronger or weaker (probably weaker?) but you can use them over.
Come to think of, that’s probably why the building I worked in over the summer had a bucket for them instead of tossing them in the garbage.

        • Rebecca December 6, 2013, 3:35 pm

Actually, I just Googled it and apparently you can reuse just the cup without the extra stuff in it, too. Maybe that’s the better option?
And you can get filters and put your own coffee in it instead of spending money on K-Cups all the time. That’s what my dad does.

          • Melanie December 6, 2013, 7:45 pm

Ha, that’s awesome! I’m glad some people have thought about making this less wasteful and cheaper. This was definitely helpful 🙂

  • Courtney December 6, 2013, 4:27 am

I am also obsessed with the modern skinny jeans from loft! Such a great pair of jeans for a great price! I don’t have the grey color, will have to check those out 🙂

  • Pauline December 6, 2013, 7:31 am

I am so glad that you are using “normal people” items! I get really frustrated when bloggers do lists like these but most of the items are ridiculously expensive, like candles for 40 bucks! Thanks for posting affordable things! 🙂

  • Laine December 6, 2013, 8:07 am

Everywhere Babies is the best baby book ever!

  • Jo Anna December 6, 2013, 8:52 am

I like this gift guide! I also really love the bedding!!

  • Lara December 6, 2013, 11:42 am

G loves those animal magnets! Also, I bought the “Everywhere Babies,” book for him after seeing it on your blog and it’s one of his favorites.

  • Caitlin December 6, 2013, 12:30 pm

Those paper mache animals are beautiful! I love the classic kids toys – Play Doh, Radio Flyer wagon – I hope they never go “out of style”!

  • Catherine December 6, 2013, 5:06 pm

Love your list! Just wondering how you find the sizing of the Loft jeans? They look great, but I’m in an online ordering situation and not sure if they run small or large?

    • Caitlin December 6, 2013, 5:19 pm

      True to size!

  • GiGi Eats Celebrities December 6, 2013, 11:29 pm

GIGI TOTALLY WANTS the Griddler!!! 🙂 I wonder if it smokes a lot, because that would be a problem in my apartment! lol… It’s a risk I am WILLING to take 😉

  • Amelia December 7, 2013, 1:13 pm

Thanks for the toddler present tips. I never know why to get my friend’s kids!
