I’m stuck under the covers, and I can’t untangle myself! Help!
Breakfast in bed has that effect.
I did briefly rise to make the Husband and I breakfast – but two hours later, we’re still laying around, making ‘sandwiches’ with the dogs (we are the bread and they are the meat and cheese). A wonderfully lazy Sunday, if you ask me.
Oh my, my, my – the Grilled Banana Sandwich is back. SO good. Make this now!
And top it with sunflower seeds for a fun salty and sweet mix.
If, at some point, I manage to pull myself out of bed, I plan to go for a short run before settling down for some writing. I’m at the point where I can’t take many days off until September or my third book will NEVER be finished (it’s a healthy living guide). I really enjoy writing it; it’s just very research and interview-intensive.
One day, one page at a time!
But first, I’m going to finish this coffee. Mmm.

You just described my perfect Sunday. Enjoy it : )
I love your mugs!
Good luck going for a run and getting some writing done! You can do it!
Sounds like a fun, relaxing morning. I love those. And I’m totally excited for your books!
I wasn’t going to read any blogs this morning. I’m very conflicted with it right now. But I am glad I came here. I’ve been “beating myself” up all morning for sleeping in when it’s beautiful out and not getting any work or cleaning done properly when I have so much to do.
So – thanks I guess – and happy writing. It sounds intense to me! But at least it’s for a great purpose and goal. I’m just floundering
Sometimes we all need a lazy Sunday morning in bed! It’s good for the soul
Good luck with your writing.
Lazy sunday mornings are sometimes an absolute necessity! So enjoy it!
Good luck with the writing! Sending you lots of inspiration and good vibes!
When you get to the point where you’re making “dog sandwiches” you know you need kids
I myself recently dedicated a Facebook status to teaching my puppy to shake, so I’m there too!
Hah tell it to the husband
i still have yet to make this. It looks absolutely incredible!
I wouldn’t be able to get out of bed either! Enjoy your relaxing time
I still need to try this banana sandwich… =)
We had a super lazy morning today too! We got up at 8am, had breakfast, showered, but then went back to bed at 9:30am — and just got up. It is 12:30
holy heck, that sandwich looks divine! you are making me so hungry right now!
I love b-fast in bed!!
Awwww…there’s nothing better than a puppy sandwich on a lazy Sunday afternoon. My dog’s not allowed on the bed, so we do a standing sandwich, with him grunting happily between our legs. Dogs are so funny.
Have you tried bannana fritters?? They are the best!
Sundays are perfect days for lazy mornings.
That sandwich looks delicious, and the long weekend is the perfect time to stay in bed all day!
Love the banana sandwich idea. I’ve been doing something similar, but adding peanut butter! Yuummm
I love lazy Sundays! Of course, I haven’t had one in awhile, but they are fantastic!
Lucky ducky! I’d be fine being tangled in the sheets if it meant breakfast in bed!
I think I’d make this for a lunch since I can’t tear myself away from my morning oats regimen.
Im weird but I cannot enjoy breakfast in bed…I hate eating without brushing my teeth and then once I’m up, i can’t get into bed! Delicious eats!
Your lazy Sunday sounds perfect! Enjoy it.
So jealous! Can your husband convince my fiance to serve me breakfast in bed?
Hahah send me his email address
Sounds like a wonderful morning – and it really is exciting to follow your book progress, good luck with motivation!! I can’t wait to read the finished product
Did you already finish writing OB bk #2!? I must have missed that
<3 yes, thankfully!
Lol at the dog sandwiches and yay for lazy Sundays! <3
