Is it a good or a bad omen that my bib number is number 13?
I am not sure. Thoughts?
Actually, I’m feeling pretty sure it’s going to be a wonderful race. Anne is here. That definitely helps my nerves. She’s feeling confident. 
And we checked out the course and it’s very flat! Go big or go home! I’m hoping to PR under 23:46. Not sure if I can do it, but I’ve trained for a good race. It’s definitely now or never!

And their little doggie, Ladybird, came along for the weekend.
All of us (well, minus Ladybird) + Diana and Brittney went to Big Daddy’s for dinner.
I found the inner resolve to stay away from beer (beer does not = a good race) and ordered a black bean burger with a side salad:
And for dessert, of course we went to Yoforia.
Sorry to make this so short, but I need to sleep for tomorrow’s race!

My husband proposed to me and then said he had a second surprise for mecehich was that he planned our entire wedding and all I had to do was show up…on the 13th of that month!!!! I was like really? Seriously…the 13th??? But it all worked out and was the only day that month it did not rain

Number 13 is only bad luck if you believe it will be -the same as walking under a ladder or stepping on a crack. I don’t see those things as good or bad luck, cos I make my own luck

So I was in Charlotte last weekend and my best friend lives a quarter mile from that yoforia, we went twice. First, when I saw your picture I was like holy crap I could have run into her! That would have been so funny (esp for my friends)considering I have never met you but know what you eat for breakfast every day
and second! have you tried the plain tart with fruity pebbles and a bit of mangoes, kiwis, blueberries, and raspberries? I have discovered fruity pebbles are quite possibly the best ice cream topper in the universe. Just saying, try it sometimes.

You’re probably already finished running as I write this, but I hope the race was great! 13 is such a low number! I don’t think I’ve ever been lower than a 3-digit number, but maybe the races I’m doing are much bigger…

I once ate a greasy pulled pork diner burger the night before running a race. That was not the best idea, heh. Gotta stick to the clean foods! A black bean burger and salad would be great.
