I am coffee obsessed! I always have my 2-4 cups each morning (regular French blend with sugar-free Coffee Mate and usually a dash of cocoa). I seriously dream of my coffee when I go to bed at night, it's that bad. I've given up Starbucks for Lent, which is going well so far but I can honestly say I could never give up caffeine unless I was pregnant again. During my pregnancy last year I had to drink decaf and it was HORRIBLE! I also believe in the benefits of coffee when it comes to workout performance. I try to keep my caffeine intake to the mornings, and if I need a warm drink in the afternoons I have decaf English Breakfast. Have a good day!

I only drink coffee or cappuccino in the mornings, and that's all my caffeine for the day. My body is SO sensitive to caffeine. Now that I don't have it past 10am, I sleep like a baby!

Coffee AND tea drinker, here. Much more on the coffee side. And no, I have absolutely no desire to give it up. It's like pure joy in the mornings. :)

I do, however, drink my fair share of decaf as well. I just love the TASTE so much. I def need my caffeine in the morning, but if I'm coffee-cravin' any other time of day, I reach for decaf.

Jas and I are AVID coffee drinkers. We both can't seem to start our morning without a cup, and if we do...oh my. It will not be a good day :D

I am a tea FANATIC. I have easily over 10 types of loose leaf and even more of the bagged (usually for simplicity and ease when I'm busy, which is ALL the time). My favorite is Earl Grey, and I adore loose leaf the best for flavor. I have also fallen in love with the Oregon Chai brand of tea concentrates. I LOVE the Vanilla Chai Latte. I mix it with milk and heat and it is divine :)

Your tea gadgets are just precious. I would love to have a real afternoon tea service one day :)

I think it's safe to say I have a tea addiction. I have 16 different types of tea (all from Teavana) in my tea drawer. (I even posted a summary of my tea collection in January.)

I tried to give up coffee when I was pregnant with my first child. Couldn't do it - but not because of the caffeine. I started drinking decaf. I think it was the taste, the smell, and the warmth.
Awesome looking pancakes, by the way!

Ugh, the interwebs ate my comment!

www.pancakeparlour.com.au << interesting choices there! When I first moved to Australia it amazed me that they ate pancakes for dessert with ice cream. The Pancake Parlour has TONS of crazy combinations on pancakes and crepes - savoury, sweet..you should check it out. Maybe you'll get some ideas.

I quit caffeine my senior year of college (4 years ago). Periodically I'll have a cappuccino or coke if I'm desperately tired, but I try to stay away from it. I'm in grad school so sometimes you just have to have something to get you through the long days and nights. I like tea, but I have to be in the mood for it. Earl, English Bfast and anything fruity usually is what I go for. HATE chai. It's one of those things I want to like, but just don't.

Caffeine used to be my obsession as well!!! The only way I got off of it- I am now pregnant! I had major withdrawal headaches and I admit, I did have a little when the headaches were terrible. You can only take Tylenol, and that does nothing for me! Now that I am 5 months I am fine without it! So be prepared when that day come Caitlin- It is a hard habit to break!!! :)

I think you are an amazing cook! Everything you make sounds delish. I agree - the routine of making coffee and/or tea is part of the enjoyment of it.
