Those dorms look cool!

OK, that egg, potato and cheese wrap looks divine, oh my goodness. I have to make one ASAP. As for one ethical/environmentally thing lately? Does buying Food Inc, book and movie and a few other books like that count? I really am intrigued at the vegetarian lifestyle so I'm getting closer.

We have been using reusable grocery bags for quite some time now and love it. So much easier to carry stuff inside too!

Ok, I'm definitely not an expert on this, but from what I understand, the best eggs you can pick are from "pastured" chickens. Cage-free means that they aren't in cages, but that often means that they are hoarded into a small barn area and never let outside. They are often packed in so tight they don't have space to move at all. So even though they aren't in a cage, they still don't have a place to roam about. These types of chickens are often called "vegetarian chickens" because they are kept inside and only fed grains, so they have no opportunities to eat ANY bugs that might make them non-vegetarians.
It's a little harder to find eggs from pastured chickens, but I'm trying to research this more.
I think that you HAVE to do what is right for you and what works best for your lifestyle. It's the only way! I think you're doing an amazing job & helping the environment in lots of ways!

As a fellow vegetarian, I LOVE EGGS!!! They are one of my favorite foods and I pretty much eat them everyday. So easy, so tasty and full of protein! I don't think I could ever give them up! On many days my life is 90% vegan so I'm fine with my egg addiction!

my mother was SOOO paranoid about that.

each floor and room was fire-proofed so it would be hard (but not impossible) from the fires to spread from floor to floor.
