Bowling and Brews

Beer, anyone?

IMG_5856

The Husband, my brother in law, and I are headed to the bowling alley.  I think we all want a stiff drink – or a pitcher of beer to share:)

I worked on my freelance articles all afternoon – and by work, I mean stare at the screen in frustration.  Finally, Jenna g-chatted me and told me to stop forcing it, and I must admit, I was happy to call it a night.  :)   Sometimes, the words just won’t flow!

Dinner:

Dippy egg on toast, roasted potatoes + ketchup, and broccoli.

Afternoon snack was a bowl of cereal:

Time to get my bowl on!

I hope you have a wonderful Friday night, too.

I’m a terrible bowler, but it sounds like lots of fun.
I’m glad you’re having swim lessons by the way – good form makes swimming MUCH easier!

    I was wondering:
What type of cereal is that?
And what type of granola do you eat?

Cereal is the Costco brand Pecan and Blueberry

Gotta love bowling! I usually find that I’m either incredibly on, or incredibly off when it comes to bowling…either way, it’s a good time :-)

Carl and I played bowling on Wii tonight and he asked if we wanted to go “in real life sometime”. I couldn’t help but laugh out loud when he said that. I’m game, but I’m HORRIBLE in real life.

Hope you’re having a wonderful Friday night!

I love bowling! Duck pin bowling is really popular here in Baltimore and there are a bunch of places where it’s BYOB. Very fun and relatively cheap date night or night out with friends!

I wish I could bowl :( whenever I go, I always have to have those stupid child rails up so the ball doesn’t go down the side :p and I still never get a good score!
Your dinner looks like breakfst :P
    Have fun!

Husband and I are thinking about bowling and brews (for him) tonight! My high score is about 60, so as you can tell, I’m the world’s worst bowler. Maybe beer would help…

Totally unrelated to your post, but I wanted to share that this morning I finished my first 5k!! I was getting nervous but all your marathon posts really helped to encourage me. I kept thinking “If she can run a marathon, I can do 3.1 miles!” And I did!! 33:00.82 with some BIG hills to climb! Thanks for being an inspiration!
