East Coast

I’m back in Orlando…  And I’m sick!

I told the Husband I was just love sick after three days away from him, but he took one look at my snotty, dripping nose and hacking cough and said, "No, you’re really sick."

I have an awesome post of our tour of the POM Wonderful factory, but I’ll post that tomorrow when I have energy to write.  Until then, have a great night!

Here’s to hoping 8 hours of sleep in my own bed will magically cure me. :)

Feel better! I used to get sick every single time I took a long haul flight – but now I think my body is just used to flight germs (gross!) because it doesn’t happen anymore!

Hi Caitlin! I hope that you feel better asap – getting sick after a lovely trip is the WORST!

I have a nutrition question for you –
My carbs per day have been out-of-control lately, as in so high you’d think I was training for a marathon, and I was wondering if you had any advice for lowering my carbs (not drastically, just to a healthy place) without upping my sodium (I seem to keep correlating lowering carbs w/ things like cottage cheese, eggbeaters, and other items that have a fair amount of sodium, and then to balance those out I think of sweet potatoes and bananas, which have potassium but a fair amount of carbs…so it turns into a bit of a cycle)..

I guess that my basic question is perhaps just advice on upping my potassium without continuing to let my carbs per day skyrocket!

    Thanks!
