I woke up at 5:30 with a wee wine hangover.
Guess we had a little too much fun at dinner.
The ultimate hangover cure? A lovely run around Boston!
I had 1/2 a LunaBar before our run:
Kelly and Meghann joined me for a 4.5 mile run along the Charles River.
It was absolutely GORGEOUS outside and the cool air was so refreshing. I brought my camera along for the ride so you guys could come, too!
We used Meghann’s GPS phone to find our way to Healthworks, a women’s only gym that gave us free passes for the weekend. I have never been inside a women’s only gym and I must say that I was intrigued by the concept!
At Healthworks, we found Heather, Tina, Kath, and Jenna!
Heather in running motion:
And Kath on the stairclimber!
I love that we all have the same mentality after a night out — wake up and sweat out that wine! Since I had already done my cardio, I just lifted a few weights. OK, I really just stood around and talked to the girls!
Everyone wrapped up their workouts and we walked to breakfast:
Tina suggested a cute little corner cafe called Mike and Patty’s, which turned out to be EXCELLENT! I highly recommend this place!
We sat around a little table…
And I dug into my Egg and Cheese Bagel sammie:
And I tasted about 1/4 of this grilled banana sammie…. which was to die for!
Time to get showered! We have to attend a meeting with the Radisson, and then it’s time for more fun Boston activities!

Love reading all of your recaps! It is so great to be with a group of women who have the same interests – fitness, food, and FUN! It can be hard to travel with people who aren't interested in doing a little sweating along the way! Have a good one
What a great morning for a run along the Charles! I still have yet to do that…. I've only stayed in the city for the marathon!
So funny to read all of your blogs about what the group is up to…. see each persons take on things.

Your run and breakfast sound awesome! That is why I am dying to meet other bloggers, it would be great to have someone of the same mentality as me. Have fun!
Sure, a few glasses of wine. But at the Healthy Living Summit? Drogging? Working off the hangover? If it were the Partying Summit, okay, but so many pics on all your blogs talk about alcohol and then feeling crappy the next day. Just some constructive criticism from an elder. Is that what your generous sponsors expect? And I really do love your blog!
it's great to read all the recaps from all your points of view. is that white choc. macadamia nut luna? yum!!!!!
so happy to see you loving boston! the charles is always a great running experience. I am so jealous of mike and patty's…never made it over there when I went to college in boston (which ended only a few months ago!)
Wow, looks like a beautiful run! I'm jealous!

Lovely running scenery!! I've never been to an all women's gym either. I think it's because I assume they don't have the fun "manly" equipment, but that's probably not true (at least, I hope it's not!!)
Hope y'all are having a wonderful day in Boston!
I love running on the Charles. All the other runners keep me motivated
I love Healthworks! I was a member there when I lived in Boston and it was an awesome gym.
