Knew This Would Happen….

I’ve been checking my work e-mail to make sure no major fires start while I’m on my staycation.  Unfortunately, I found out earlier today that I have to "go into work" for a few hours to write a memo.  No big deal, but I knew this would happen!

My knees feel great after my long run!  Icing truly works wonders if you have knee pain.

Snacked on Wasa crackers (I had two) with cheese:

And for lunch, I had two pieces of toast with dippy eggs.  I just had to satisfy my egg craving!

Plus, carrots and cucumbers:

Hey Caitlin- what kind of bread do you use?

Also gotta say I'm amazed that you're holding up 2 jobs, 2 twitter accounts, and 2 sites (blog + opbu). If I had a medal I'd give it you!

I have foot issues – ice always saves the day. But I do try to not do stuff to aggravate my problem areas.

My seven year old calls them dippy eggs, too.

I found an operation beautiful note in the base gym here in Arkansas. I didn't have my camera, but it really hit me and made my day. It said:

"Stop comparing yourself to those outside the door. You are perfect as you are. Hold your head up and show them what you're made of!"

It gave me the little confidence boost I needed to hop on a treadmill next to those people I perceive as better than me.
