Meghann was at my place at 5:45 AM. I wolfed down a piece of toast and PB with coffee as we gossiped and caught up on each other’s lives.
Then, we drove to meet Megan for a fun group run!
These speedy ladies really PUSHED me this morning. As you know, I haven’t run more than a 5K since my 15-mile trail race in April, but I’m determined to get my mileage back. Meghann and Megan motivated me to run 4.0 miles, a little more than my training plan called for — but it was great!
They were so sweet. They kept asking me if I wanted to slow down or walk. But I said, "No! I’m never going to get fast again if I take it too easy!" So I buckled down and tried to keep up. I did ask to walk once, but other than that it was straight running. The last mile was really challenging! I survived.

We came home and I began to prepare our breakfast. I was one sweaty cook! :) Sexy:
I made a huge batch of whole wheat pancakes and put a bunch of fruit + yogurt on the table, too.
Here’s my brekkie:
Yay for friends!
I’m off to work! I have to work a half day at my full-time job, some hours at my part-time job, and then I have a physical therapy appointment. Good times.
