Nap > Run (Today)

in All Posts

I think I was worn out from volunteering + errands, because I fell asleep on the couch!  As a result, I missed my run. But, I’ll make it up tomorrow.

Here are my afternoon eats…. I had a major attack of Easter Candy.  I think I need to throw it all out (thanks, mom… grrr)!

+ a handful or two of jelly beans.

A bowl of shredded wheat + Chobani.

CIMG3306

A slice of cold bread before passing out on the couch (this was suppose to be a pre-run snack!).

And for dinner…. I felt so lazy and just made breakfast for dinner.  My favorite 🙂

CIMG3308

French toast, strawberries, melon, and syrup.  Pretty much a perfect Friday dinner!

Time to catch up on TV and then I’m going to bed EARLY.  I need to get in a loooong run tomorrow.  The 15.0 mile trail race is in just a few weeks!

I’m so glad I have no easter candy around yet. I have Nooooooo resistance against seasonal holiday goodies! Most especially chocolatey treats wrapped in cute pastel coverings.

Hope you get in a good rest and an even BETTER run tomorrow!

I feel your pain about the easter crack…my bf brought me home a 40oz bag (!!!) of Reese’s mini cups and I cannot control myself around them. I know I should throw them out, but I can’t!

Don’t feel bad about putting the fiction aside! You have a lot of other things on your plate that deserve your attention. Time for the writing will come later, I’m sure! Take care.
