Sunday Morning

Good morning! I am in such a good mood! Future Hus and I debated going out to the wine bar last night, but we decided to run to the grocery store and get "wine supplies" and watch movies at home.

Carrs Crackers, Cabot cheese, grapes, and Cadbury’s chocolate (we shared the plate).  Plus:

One more glass of wine!

We watched a Julia Robert marathon — first, we watched "Sleeping With the Enemy" (sooo scary!) and then, "Charlie Wilson’s War" (eh).   It was a perfect way to spend my Saturday.

This morning, I had a hearty bowl of oatmeal.

I made basic banana oatmeal and topped it with pumpkin spice granola from Trader Joe’s.  In the center, I put a dollop of the orange creme custard that will fill our wedding cake!

So, so good!

I’ve got a full day of errands and gym planned! I hope you have a wonderful Sunday! :)

Hooray for a good mood, and for “wedding cake filling-esque” oats (if that makes any sense, haha).

Happy Sunday to ya!!

I had a movie night last night too, but we went out to the theaters. We saw Milk with Sean Penn – it was so good!

How cute that you guys recreated the wine bar scene! Way comfier and less pretentious at home, right?

Mmm, I love the picture of the custard creme dripping over the oatmeal. You’re making me want to dig into the (frozen) top of our wedding cake NOW :D Ok, I’ll wait till next year, but I may have to find another source of cake asap.

Custard oatmeal…. mmmmmm.
Congrats on the good mood and the day off. Must have been a HUGE relief after the crazy days you’ve had there so far… sounds like tough work. Are you enjoying it? A least a bit?
